We are seeking donations to pay the tuition for our students, you can either donate a $1, $2 or any amount you can afford - the amount to sponsor a child’s education is $195.00-218.00 USD for one academic school year. The funds obtained from donations and sponsors will be used to pay school fees, buy two sets of uniforms and textbooks for the child/children. A critera is now used to identify kids who are qualified to be enrolled in our program.

EDUCATION

Liberia faces a cruel dilemma, not knowing what to do with her broken educational system. Build Liberia Education Foundation has found students in the streets of Monrovia, Liberia selling during school hours. Based on our survey and found there are similar situations across the country.  Decades after the civil war kids are left out of school due to high unemployment and no source of income.

Based on this background, Build Liberia Education Foundation primary goal is to provide sponsorship for less fortunate kids to have Quality Education through donations.

HEALTHCARE

Liberia is one of the poorest countries in the world. The Civil war have killed around 250,000 people and displaced many more. The war ended in 2003 but destroyed most of the country's healthcare facilities. Recovery proceeds but most of the population still live below the international poverty line. Life expectancy in Liberia is much lower than the world average. Communicable diseases are widespread, including tuberculosis, diarrhea, malaria, HIV. Nearly a quarter of children under the age of five are malnourished, high infant mortality rate and few people have access to adequate sanitation facilities. Based on the above critical problems, Build Liberia Health department is seeking support from international health organization to help in a donation for the people of Liberia can get better healthcare.

AGRICULTURE

Agriculture is the primary livelihood source for more than 60 percent of Liberia’s population and provides sustenance for many households who engage in farming of rice, oil palm, cocoa, Vegetable, and Cassava. However, low agricultural productivity results in Liberia importing more than 80 percent of its staple food, making the country vulnerable to global food price volatility. Poorly integrated, the sector lacks necessary infrastructure such as machines, farming equipment/tools, farm-to-market roads, fertilizers and pesticides, and food storage capacity. Cassava and rice are the primary staple food crops. Based on this issues Build Liberia Agriculture sector want to bolster the food security aspect of producing locally to feed students with breakfast and lunch at school to enhance quality learning appetize

SPORTS

Sport is playing a major role in helping promote social and economic development. Workshops highlighted the contribution of sport to achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls. Build Liberia is aimed in participate in sports to raise awareness of the benefits of sport.
